In March of this year, the Wichita Business Journal and Cox Business began accepting nominations for the 2017 Women In Business Awards. These outstanding women in the Wichita area were to be nominated for their career accomplishments and contributions to the success of other women.Tonja Sowder, Vice President of Human Resource and Benefits at Syndeo Outsourcing, was nominated by David May, the President and Owner of Trinity Precision in Wichita.Tonja left her career of nearly two decades to start fresh at the age of 40 in human resources. She always wanted to be passionate about the company she worked for, the clients they serve and the team she supports. “I have only worked for two other companies my entire life besides my current position. The changes have all been due to a personal need for continued growth and challenge for my career path and personal development,” said Tonja. Tonja is invaluable to the Syndeo team.
